MEDIEVAL REAL TIME STRATEGY Ranked Unlock, Buckets, Etiquette

Level 7 door, 1-5 and 6+ matchmaking, and how not to throw an alliance lobby.

Last updated:

Ranked Play

Ranked in MEDIEVAL REAL TIME STRATEGY is a door, not a different game. The win condition is still destroy all enemy castles. The mill line still starts with two builders. The difference is who is in the lobby and when you are allowed in. Ranked unlocks after level 7. Matchmaking already splits players into levels 1-5 and 6+ buckets even before that lock, so a level 3 account is not supposed to be learning hotkeys against a level 40 mill gremlin.

This page is the queue rules and the lobby manners. Openings stay on the first-hour castle walkthrough. Finishes stay on macro and army compositions. If you queued ranked to skip learning mills, leave and come back at level 7 with three Windmills in muscle memory.

Unlock, buckets, and what level 7 is for

Play public online matches until level 7. Those matches are already multiplayer - alliances, 200-player servers, the full Spling RTS, last patched 27 August 2026 at the time this wiki checked. You will meet the 1-5 bucket first, then 6+ as you climb. Ranked is the extra playlist that waits until 7. It is not a single-player ladder and it is not a coming-soon mode. The game has been live since 8 September 2022.

Skillful is a badge at level 10, not the ranked key. Teamwork is a badge for winning in an alliance. Legion is 15 swordmen in one match. Heraldry is buying a skin. None of those replace the level 7 gate. Do not assume a badge means you belong in the highest bucket.

If a lobby feels wrong - six-digit visit veterans in a 1-5 game - you still play the mills. You do not get a refund on a thrown keep. Learn the PC and mobile hotkey table in the easier bucket, not after the ranked door opens.

What ranked still is

Same buildings. Same King aura. Same Barracks at about $35 and 35 HP. Same mill at about $11 per minute on a farm. Same castle tick at about $25 per minute. Same Q to load wagons. Players in 6+ just punish mistakes faster: a skipped back farm, a builder into a Watchtower, a Crossbower courtyard under Wizards, a siege with no Trebuchet. Read wall-breaking siege notes before you spend a ranked buy on walls you cannot crack.

Private-server commands are a game pass for owners. They are not a ranked advantage in a public playlist. If someone is using owner commands, you are not in the playlist this page describes.

Etiquette that keeps allies in the match

Alliances are part of the design. You can win as a color pair. You can also lose because one ally farmed your mill road. Minimum manners:

  • Call the first attack path in chat or by walking there. The back farm you take should not be the farm your ally already walked to.
  • Do not kill allied builders. That is not a joke in a 6+ lobby.
  • When two enemy keeps remain, pick one. Two half-sieges is how both keeps live. The alliance callouts page is the longer ping sheet.
  • Repair your own mill line. Do not demand an ally’s Repairman while you chase a scout.
  • If you must leave, say so. A silent King in the trees is a missing aura and a missing hammer.
  • Do not grief a ranked ally because they opened two builders instead of your pet opener. The 2026 beginner open is still two builders, sometimes plus three swordsmen.

King aura still belongs on the job. Walking the King into a Ballista to “prove” something is how ranked throws look. Aura details are on the how-to-win and king pages; this page only cares that you do not waste a teammate’s mill time babysitting your corpse.

Prep that actually belongs in ranked

Before you hit the ranked button:

  1. You can E unselect, Shift-peel, and Q-load without thinking.
  2. You can hit three mills before a Barracks on a normal map.
  3. You know Knights front, splash back, Trebuchet on stone, Catapult on clumps.
  4. You will not invent codes or scripts to “fix” a losing keep. Coins codes live in the Skins panel (RTS and 2K have been reported; they may expire). Injected tools are a ban risk, not a rank strategy - if you even look at that category, read executor safety notes and then go play the match.
  5. You know where patch notes live. The live patch notes board and the patch-by-patch changelog beat a year-old troop video.

A community links index is the place for the Roblox listing and group, not a ranked shortcut.

After a ranked loss

Ask which timer failed. No mills: windmill income breakdown. No clicks: controls. No Trebuchet on a wall: siege. Mills and army and still wandering: how-to-win. The guides overview exists so you do not queue tilt into the same 6+ bucket with the same two-builder mistake.

Peak concurrent numbers around 4962 and tens of millions of visits mean you will find a lobby. They do not mean every lobby is a fair lesson. Stay in the bucket you belong in, unlock ranked at 7, and treat allies like the second mill line they are. The only ranked score that counts is the same as classic: enemy castles at zero, yours still standing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, ranked, windmills, and siege fights.

When does Ranked unlock in Medieval RTS?

After level 7. Until then, play the public online playlists. Skillful at level 10 is a badge, not the unlock.

What are the matchmaking buckets?

Levels 1-5 and levels 6+. Ranked sits behind the level 7 door; the buckets already keep brand-new accounts away from veterans in normal queues.

Is Ranked single-player?

No. Medieval RTS is online multiplayer with alliances in every serious playlist. Ranked is not a solo campaign and the game is not unreleased.

Can I use private-server commands in Ranked?

No. Those commands are a game pass for private-server owners. Public ranked lobbies use the same recruit and hotkey rules as classic.

How should alliances play a ranked finish?

Pick one enemy keep and sit on it. Do not split sieges or raid allied mills. Use the alliance callouts page for pings.

Do scripts help Ranked?

They are not a strategy on this wiki. If you were sent a file, read executor safety notes and then go learn mills instead.
